Fresh Cut Wax Flowers

Wax flowers are really flowering branches and should be cut with sharp shears.  Remove two to three inches from the bottom of the stem.  Place in clean containers of warm water with a floral preservative.

Do not crush or pound woody stems as it damages the water-carrying vessels inside the stem. These flowers are great used in all types of bouquets.
