This pedestal bouquet
was a great deal of fun and you will find it easy too. If
you are arranging a bouquet like this for your church, make sure
the arrangement is not higher than the podium.
Supplies:
1 - Pedestal
Plastic container to insert into hole of Pedestal
1/3 Piece Floral Foam (For Silk)
1 - Small Silk Ivy String (I always use the wired)
3 - Stems Roses (One Large and one small per stem)
3 - Stems Silk Freesia
In the picture, you will notice I added a heart at top of
bouquet. This was made with a clothes hanger, shaped into
a heart, covered with green florist wire and covered with
greenery. Thought it easy enough not to include photos in
instructions.
First photo shows a plastic
container put down into the pedestal holding the floral
foam. Cut floral foam to fit and hot glue.
Next step is to add greenery in a
downward crescent shape. In order to give the bouquet a
balanced look, you will want to insert the larger roses on the
side with the shorter ivy. When adding the silk freesia,
allow them to drop lower on the side with the short ivy.
Again this helps to balance your bouquet.
Added Tips: In some our my
earlier bouquets, I explain the importance of inserting all your
flowers to the center of a bouquet like this. You want to
give the appearance that it is growing out of the center of the
petestal.
After this bouquet was finished,
I added the ivy covered heart shape to the center and placed on
the podium with a rose and leaf. This was sure a crowd
pleaser.
