Fresh Cut Sunflower

Sunflowers tend to wilt prematurely in the vase and can be avoided by pretreatment with 2% dishwashing detergent.  Flower foods provide no particular benefit. 

Store at 33-35F.  

Vase life is 6-12 days and many use these flowers in dried arrangements.
