Fresh Cut Delphinium

Delphinium are available in shades of blue, purple and sometimes rose-colored.  They are sensitive to ethylene gas which causes petal shattering.  
  
Work your delphiniums as soon as possible.  Rinse stems and remove only the foliage that would fall below the waterline.  Cut stems and dip in "Quick Dip" then place in prepared solution of fresh flower food.  Refrigerate at 34-38F
  
When using delphinium florets (flowers which grow up the stem) take off stem and float in water for better hydration.
