Fresh Cut Carnations

Carnations are available year round and come in a great many colors.  They are ethylene sensitive.  Remove foliage which goes below waterline and cut carnations under water.  Place in clean water with flower food.  Store at 34-38F.  Properly treated, carnations will last up to a month.
