Fresh Cut Astilbe

Showy feathery flowers is how I describe Astilbe.  Flowers come in pink, lavender, rose, crimson and white.  They are ethylene sensitive. Rinse the stems under water and use a sharp blade to remove 1" from the bottom on each stem.  Remove foliage which will fall below the waterline.  Dip in "Quick Dip" then put into container with water and flower food.  Should last up to 12 days.

These flowers have a very soft look.

Drying:  These flowers dry best in an upright position.  Loosely bundle by tying the tips of stems to hang for drying.  They will last indefinitely.
